This project was about creating and adding a bee into the live-action scene in post-production.
It was a commercial project for Tatra Banka.
My part was covering, creating the bee animation of flying, and then eventually compositing it into the scene. The bee rig was done fully procedurally so it could be changed at any time if it was desired. For this process, I have used Houdini's latest rigging tools called KineFX. This tool enables the creator to create a full body IK rig in approximately 20min, depending on the complexity of the model of course. In other cases, KineFX can handle even high poly models if there is no need to optimize the geometry. It can basically bone-deform any type of high or low poly geometry based on a tetrahedral mesh which is more optimized for the tool itself and then it drives the original desired geometry.

It was a very fun and short project by my side where I could finally try out the new kinefx tools instead of Maya rigging tools.
